CRAFTFEST will be held this year on Saturday, November 6 from 9-3 & Sunday, November 7 from 9-1. This is the primary fundraiser of the Women’s Guild and proceeds subsidize many Parish activities, outreach programs and benevolences.
Registered members should have received three raffle tickets and a sheet to return with donations. We encourage your participation in this aspect of the fundraiser. Please note: If your donation is in memory of a loved one, include their name with your donation. Memorial donations will be recognized at Craftfest and in the church bulletin at a later date.
Raffle tickets have been included in the parish mailing. You won’t want to miss taking a chance on the 15 wonderful prizes that are included in this year’s raffle. First prize is a unique and handsome Queen Size Quilt handmade by St. Joseph’s Clover Dell Schoolhouse Quilters. Prizes #2-4 are all valued at $100!! We sincerely thank these generous donors:
Heintzelman’s Funeral Home, $100 Cash
Clover Hill Winery, Wine Basket
Stephens Funeral Home, Celebrate Thanksgiving Basket
Don’t miss your chance to win by returning your raffle ticket stubs in the collection basket or to the rectory. Extra raffle tickets are available in the rectory.
The Chinese Auction is a long-time staple of Craftfest. Bidders simply buy tickets and use them to bid on items. The more you want something, the more tickets you buy and put into the jar to increase your chance to be drawn as the lucky winner on Sunday afternoon. We are seeking donations of services, gift certificates, dinners, tickets to sporting events, vacation home use, etc. for the auction. Parishioners with items to donate may contact Eleanor Heffner at (610) 395-4688 or items may be taken to the rectory. Also, if you have any donation leads, the Auction Committee is happy to follow up. Just let Eleanor know.
Gift Basket Items
Craftfest will once again feature its beautiful gift baskets available for purchase. The baskets are creatively designed and assembled using items donated by parishioners. A bin is now located in the Church Lobby for items appropriate for these baskets. (Please, we request new and unused items only – save your used treasures for next year’s Flea Market.)
Get involved: Mark your calendars to help with Pierogies on Monday 10/11 and Tuesday 10/12 at 9am
St. Joseph’s Women’s Guild has always been an amazing group of ladies who show the pride they take in our parish by their continual commitment of their time, talent, and treasure.
If you would like to meet some of the nicest women around we ask you to come and join us at our monthly meetings. We gather in the Parish Center to enjoy our program for the evening and experience delicious refreshments prepared for us by our Refreshments Committee. We are a busy group, however, you are invited to either just attend our meetings and programs, OR, participate in any of the parish or outreach ministries that interest you!
Our members come together to:
Create our CRAFTFEST fundraiser, in November.
Feed the needy at the Soup Kitchen in Allentown.
Maintain our altars and decorate our church.
Serve as Lectors and Eucharistic Ministers at weekend and daily Masses.
Support our Clergy & religious Sisters.
Supply and maintain the clothing shed on the lower parking lot.

Make pierogies for Craftfest and the Festival and kiffles in the spring and fall
