St. Joseph the Worker has numerous Adult Formation programs happening throughout the year.  Watch our bulletin and E-News for announcements. 

 

Ongoing programs which you can join at any time:​

-Divine Mercy Cenacle-  Each week, meetings are based on a reading from St. Faustina's Diary, the Catechism of the Catholic Church, and Scripture.  Wednesday mornings at 9:15 in the Parish Center.

-Scripture Study-  Uses a workbook to study the scriptures for the upcoming Sunday.  Meets on Thursdays at 9:15 in the Parish Center room 5/6.  All are welcome anytime.

SELF STUDY:

-Catechism in A Year -Following the podcast by Fr. Mike Schmitz, we welcome you to make this journey through the Catechism of the Catholic Church on your own.  You can also use the Hallow App.

-Bible in a Year-  Another gem of a podcast from Fr. Mike Schmitz.  Everyone should do it at least once!

​

-Formed.org- paid for by our parish, you can sign up on their website, choosing "St. Joseph the Worker, Orefield" for access to this wonderful resource for Catholics containing books, podcasts, study programs, and movies, as well as programming for children.

​

-The Hallow App- many parishioners and staff use this popular prayer app that keeps you learning AND praying throughout the day.  You do have to pay for Hallow, but if you can swing it, it is worth its weight in gold.  There is a free trial period to test it out.
